SEPTEMBER 21-22, 2026 | Ritz-Carlton in Las Colinas, TX
Since 2007, the Construction Industry Safety Initiative(CISI) has brought together construction industry leaders with a shared commitment to making the industry safer for everyone. Through consistent collaboration, the group has created a trusted forum for sharing lessons learned, proven safety programs, and innovative tools—from Safety Week initiatives to the Energy Wheel—that turn ideas into action. This collective approach has led to measurable improvements in overall safety performance, demonstrating that when industry leaders work together, safety becomes more than a requirement—it becomes a culture.

Forge Foundation
Built by Tradespeople. Backed by Community. Rooted in Recovery.
The FORGE is a support initiative designed by and for skilled tradespeople, tackling the mental health and addiction crisis facing the industry.
This time is built into the agenda to allow participants to arrive, get settled, and connect with one another before the meeting begins. It provides a relaxed opportunity to network, exchange ideas, and continue conversations that strengthen relationships across the group. These informal interactions help set the tone for open dialogue and collaboration throughout the rest of the session.
We’re honored to welcome a keynote presentation from The Forge, an initiative dedicated to addressing the mental health crisis in the skilled trades. Drawing on lived experience and peer-led support models, the keynote will explore the unique pressures faced by tradespeople—from long hours and physical demands to the industry’s “tough it out” culture—and how these contribute to elevated levels of stress, anxiety, addiction, and isolation. Attendees will gain insights into practical strategies for fostering mental wellness, reducing stigma, and building supportive workplace cultures where workers feel empowered to seek help. This talk will challenge us to rethink how we support one another on and off the jobsite, reinforcing that in the trades, mental health should never be faced alone.
